Meet Kennerly

Writing and traveling are the things that make me feel the most alive. That’s me pictured with the Rock of Gibraltar in the background, taken from a little AirB&B apartment my husband and I stayed in before taking a boat over to Morocco from southern Spain.

Now it’s all coming together in a big way⏤written words, international living, cosmic and ancestral connections and trips of all kinds. So I’ve got a lot to say and I hope you like what you read.

Keep in touch, will ya?

ABOUT KENNERLY

Having grown up in a rural town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Kennerly went on to live in places like New York City, London, and San Francisco, where she graduated summa cum laude from the University of San Francisco.

She went on to teach and work in Japan and has traveled to more than 20 countries, stopping off and living short-term in places like Fiji and Costa Rica. Her Spanish is decent and Kennerly speaks what she calls “taxi-cab Japanese.”  She now leads an adventurous suburban life on the outskirts of Philadelphia with her crypto-expert husband and two sassy teenage boys.

Kennerly’s work has appeared in major U.S. newspapers and magazines and she is the co-author of The Buzz On Travel

Her first ebook Calling of Ancestors: Finding Forgotten Secrets in My DNA was published as a Kindle Single in July 2021.
